Today, on Facebook, all these parents posted photos of their child's last first day of high school, saying they were so proud as they left for senior year. It was my first day of senior year today, but my parents just gave me a high-five for not doing drugs. FML

At least you're not doing drugs... or at least that's what they think.

Yea, my parents didn't say a word to me about my last first day of school. I don't really know why this is an fml.

My parents did nothing when I became a senior, and I didn't whine about it. If they do nothing for graduation the yeah it would be a little more understandable to be upset. It's facebook, people pretend to care then forget about what they've 'liked' five minutes later, get over it.

Does it really friggin' matter, though? I live in the "ghetto." I don't do drugs. I got to senior year and graduated valedictorian, full-ride in my pocket to TCU, and my parents could not give less of a shit. It's all about you. If you're proud of yourself, no one else has to be, OP.

I'd rather have the high five
