Today, somebody stopped by the front desk at the hotel I work at to report a vehicle had its headlights on. I wrote down the info, including the plate. Hours later, after my shift was over, I finally realized that it was MY vehicle. The battery was dead. FML

LOL. Are you that mindless at work that you didnt realize that it was your car??? 100% your fault. YDI!

If you seriously don't know your license plate numbers, you have issues. How would you report your vehicle(in the case it got stolen).

Except she gave him the license number. If she went around to the back of the car and wrote down the license, I'm sure she also wrote down the make and model, since it's also right in front of her too. And the OP said "I wrote down ALL the information, INCLUDING the license number", so she obviously gave him more info then that. Even if all she said was "it's a white car", if you drove a white car, wouldn't you check to make sure it wasn't yours?

Seriously? How could you not even recognize your own car. Are you senile?

What was the point of writing the details down if u didnt do anything about it? And that was part of your job... So, not only you had no clue of your plate number/color/make/model but you were also a careless employee. YDI ...idiot.

how do u not recognize your own license plate number. ydi retard

YDI. Even if you don't remember your own tag number, you should know your make and model, and you should have gone through the guests who were checked in to see if they had the same make model. You waited HOURS??

You didn't recognise the number on ur numberplate???? Wot a dumbass.

I can understand not recognizing the plates, I can never remember mine, but the color/type? That's rediculous! YDI
