Young love

Today, I overheard my wife telling our daughter that getting married young is like a “long, slow, painful dream-killing death, played out over decades.” We got married when I was 18 and she was 17. FML

Well it could be the truth. It depends on the couple. Remember, a majority of marriages end within a few years.

Ask yourself whose career continued and whose was put on the back burner to raise your kids.

And the problem is that while she knows this truth, your daughter still believes in Santa Claus?

It’s more than time that you do something about it. Find new projects together, change your daily routine, talk, explore, seek counseling, have fun!

you married a child who never got to pursue what she wanted because she was busy running your home and raising your kids. duh.

They were both children.. it's very rare for a long-term marriage anymore and starting that young? Ouch.
