1. You cannot base a life decision after spending 1 hour with someone else's kids. 2. If you're stupid enough to do number one anyway, never ever attempt to raise children OR pets.

I think it's obvious who the smart one is in your relationship.

I'm adamantly child free...life is awesome! I get to do what I want, spend my money how I want, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Hey at least you know now and not after you have the kid. People who can't handle kids exist and it's ok. I myself don't want kids. My sister has a son and I spoil him as the cool aunt. Then after he is flying high on sugar I give him back to my sister..........she doesn't let me babysit lol. To those that say you will change your mind after you have one. Do you really want to risk someone who is unsure having a kid and they end up hating it? It is no guarantee that they will love the kid and in the meantime the kid suffers for it. That is how we end up with child abuse and/or a parent who doesn't want to ask for help because they will be admitting that they didn't get that magical all encompassing love bond that fixes everything. Just accept that not everyone wants or should have kids.

They do grow out of that stage eventually! If you have a hysterectomy, game over. Anything else has a chance to fail. When I go for surgery, anything short of a hysterectomy I need to do a pregnancy test.

I can think of no better way to confirm whether or not you want a baby than to spend time with a friend's or relative's spawn. It's better you find out now than before you get pregnant.
