Unfortunately, “nice people” tend to let you down easy instead of just telling you that aren’t interested… Don’t waste anymore time pursuing someone who isn’t interested. That’s time wasted that could be used in meeting someone who might actually be interested in you… Romantic relationships are difficult. And they don’t work unless both want it. Not everyone you like is going to be interested in you (or vice versa). That’s why it takes a lot of interactions until you find a compatible person. On the other hand there is no such thing as “the one” there are simply people who are more or less compatible.
