This FML has a concerned feel to it, but I think it's comforting that they set rules like this, otherwise, someone may go around stabbing and throwing people around all willy-nilly.

Why is this even an FML??

To be fair... Physics is an incredibly stressful subject if you don't have a knack for that type of math. I took physics for non-majors and all of us were about ready to throw things. I personally needed to be escorted out for having a breakdown and sobbing during an exam. It was terrifying the rest of the already terrified class. There may be a funny story there to set the class at ease... but I think it's good to be concerned.

Just ask your prof what the deal is with the sign. He/she won't bite! No promises on stabbing or throwing you, though ;)

One more note, OP: Physics isn't as horrendous or terrifying as its sometimes made out to be. Take it one bite at a time. Take notes. Make flash cards for each equation. Ask questions in class (bc if you're not sure, most of the class probably isn't sure either but is too afraid to ask). Never be afraid to ask. Use your professors office hours for extra help (that's what they're there for. And they like when students actually make extra effort!!) See if your school has free tutoring. Use free resources online like Khan Academy. Best to you, OP!
