Today, I found out that my girlfriend has been cheating on me. I also found out that my best friend knew about it all along. When I confronted him, he tried to justify the betrayal by saying that she paid him to keep quiet. FML

The problem is, I just found out that the girlfriend has been sexting with someone else, and is sure to dump my friend for that guy. FML

Today, my friend found out his girlfriend was cheating on him. He came to talk to me, and I was happy to help him through this tough time… until he drank a bottle of whiskey by himself. He flew into a drunken rage and started punching holes in the wall and throwing furniture. Now my house is wrecked. FML

so you hooked up while drunk, mistake #1, paid your "best friend" $500, not to say anything, mistake #2, didn't have to guts to come clean to your Girlfriend, mistake #3 are mad because he told her, she dumped you, and you're out 500, and you think this is an FML and are seemingly looking for sympathy..... sorry dude, you are a dumbass, think of this as a life lesson. DON'T CHEAT, and DONT PAY A FRIEND to NOT say something. PS- have some respect for your next girlfriend(if you ever get another one).

I'd do the same thing. If you're willing to pay me 500 in hush money to keep me from telling your girl about something, you're obviously willing to pay someone else 500 in hush money to keep me in the dark over something that involves me.
