Being socially awkward is tough. I was the same way in middle and high school (and let's be honest I pretty much still am now even in my junior year of college) and it just suuuuuuuuucks! It's good to know that you're not alone, though, op...and look on the bright side, at least you got an award!!! Also here's a word of advice: don't worry if you don't have any friends, either; after high school nobody cares whether you do things alone or not; eating alone, movies, etc. It isn't a bad thing at all to have friends, but it's important to know how to enjoy your own company. Who knows...after high school while you're doing something like taking a cooking class, for example, you could make a new friend and with time, maybe even have your own squad! I hope this makes sense what I'm saying, lol. In the meantime, though, you have people on here that can relate to you and care about you. Stay sweet and don't let this get you down! ?
