Creeped out

Today, I was going over to my friend's house for the first time. A creepy-looking old man answered, and smiled at me. I asked, "Is this the right house? Does Isaac live here?" He replied, "Yes, he's in the basement. Would you like a drink?" Right then, Isaac called and asked me where I was. FML

Isaac was probably waiting for you in the basement. You should have graciously accepted your host's offer of a roofie-laced drink and slam it down like a champ. Then, accompany him to the basement to see Isaac.

As funny as this is, call the police on this guy.

I thought of the butler from Scary Movie 2. Make sure he doesn't touch you with his "strong" hand.

Haha! That part always makes me laugh!

I would advise police to keep an eye on mr. Creeper. Obviously he is a rapist or sex offender waiting for a fly in his web... And u just untangled yourself in good timing.

Lesson learned: Make sure you are at the right house before you ring the doorbell, double check with your friend about the address before you go, and give them a call outside of their house. The safest way is to call them when you reach their house to avoid something like this from happening, as well as to give your friend a heads up that you have arrived. Like others have said, you should alert the police about this. The man is obviously trying to lure innocent people into his house and even if he is not doing anything except for waiting at home, he is still dangerous.

OP arrived at the wrong house. The man who answered the door is a stranger and lied about her friend being in the basement. In other words, he was trying to lure her in and have her stay there without anyone knowing about it.
