Well here is where you've got some investigation to do you're going to need to dig into his personal life, phone, bank records ,other because either A. he is some sort of scam artist like a grifter, or gaffer or B. he's a hapless idiot who loved you so much he couldn't stand the thought of you being disappointed in him for dropping out and scared of you dumping him or C. he's actually living a second secret Life. If by PA you mean Physician Assistsnt, you typically need a bachelor's degree to even get into school. Aside from that, the average length of school is usually 2-3 years.
