That's really toolish of them. That's one of the reasons people come to the gym
haha
What the hell? Those guys were asses. Not wearing a sports bra won't cause you any serious injury, just maybe make your boobs sore because they're not used to being flung about. Surprisingly, women who don't wear bras need ones less than women who chronically wear them ... because it weakens the ligaments that supports the breasts.
Uh, no, 72 - people who wear bras ALL OF THEIR LIVES and then SUDDENLY DON'T are the ones with the "saggy breasts that go down to the waist"....,.
TOTALLY inappropriate. Make a formal complaint. As long as you're not endangering the equipment or others, or exposing yourself, they have no right to tell you what to do.
agreed, like WTF??? If ur not harmed, then y they care??? and it's not harming anyone else! unless they r sensitive about boobs, and uf they r, to freaking bad!!!! thus is a gym, wear comfortable clothes!!!!!
just be glad they told you so
That's AWFUL. It's none of their business what your boobs are doing during your workout, and I would demand some kind of compensation for this kind of awful treatment. Those guys are horrible.
Hey sweetie, For years I didn't go to the gym because I couldn't find the right bra and I was very self-conscious. So I say good for you for going anyway. Also, if you go to Academy, they have some really excellent and good-looking sports bras. The one I use is called the Athena bra. They are made for larger-breasted women who want to do a high-impact workout. I love it! It makes it hurt so much less when I work out! And no more embarrassing moments. But I agree with the other people that you should make a complaint. That is inappropriate- especially since you most likely pay for your membership. Maybe they were looking out for you- but it wasn't their business. And staring is always rude- even if it was because you were so hot. It isn't your fault that their minds were so one-tracked that they couldn't concentrate on their own workout.
OP, buy a webcam.

I saw that happened to a girl at my gym the other day - this wasn't at Richmond Recreation Centre, was it? If so, I thought you were actually pretty hot....
They are only looking out for you. While I enjoy watching women's boobs bounce as much as the next guy you can do yourself an injury without proper support while exercising. But there is no way to really tell if you would do yourself any harm. Best thing for it is come round my house and jog for me on the spot. I'll tell you exactly what support you need. ;-)
