Double standard

Today, I requested two hours off for tomorrow afternoon. My supervisor and manager called me into the office to talk to me about how important it is to be in the office as much as possible. A little later, my supervisor told me that for budgeting reasons, I have to take 3 non-paid days off. FML

Is that legal!? Unpaid days off... Ha... I know i'm gloating, but damn I like the nordic countries (north european that is for those without geografy skills...)

Non-paid? Did you really use a hyphenated word when you could have just used "unpaid"?

What? For budgeting reasons? That's their problem. If I were you, I'd tell them that it isn't gonna happen. I'm not gonna work 3 days non-paid because of their issues.
