Dude, what are you doing?

Today, my mom came into my room to give me a goodbye kiss. Due to the routine of my girlfriend doing the exact same thing in the exact same spot, I held the kiss way longer than what a mother/son kiss should last. My mom actually had to tell me to "let go". FML

Your mom kisses you on the lips? O.O

Freudian slip! Just with actions, a bit more creepy.

At least you didn't grab boob.

Your mom still comes in to give you good bye kisses?

Hey! There's nothing wrong with that! I work in a hospital and people die at the most unexpected times. I swear in one week I saw 3 young people die due to forces out of our control. One of them was a 30 year old girl who had told her mother she hated her and just wished she'd leave. Her mother obliged tearfully. Those were the last words the mother heard from her daughter before the daughter threw a clot and died. I don't care how embarrassing it may seem or how awkward it may feel, I always encourage everyone I know to always hug and kiss their loved ones before they leave. You never know when death comes for anybody. Never regret the last thing you do or say to those you love.

Woah. Pay attention. YDI for kissing your mom like a girlfriend

My four year old step son does that with his mom. She told me that he sometimes tries or tried to add tongue. Apparently, my wife still kisses her mom on the lips.... My wife is 24 I find that gross and disturbing. :-X

As long as you don't think about the fact that your wife was kissing her mother not too long ago while the two of you are kissing, you'll be fine...

I'd be concerned that a 4 year old knows about slipping in some tongue.

It's not that hard to learn about the tongue action, really. If the kid watches any Soup Opera o romantic series he'll see it and try to imitate it. I myself as a kid asked my parents if they could give me a "Soup Opera kiss." They obviously didn't comply. I didn't know what it meant when I was a kid and I'm sure the 4-year-old doesn't know it either. He's just imitating what he saw. :P

I'm from the US and in my family its perfectly normal to give family members a peck on the lips. My husband's family who are from Peru kiss each other on the cheek. I think it just depends on the family not necessarily the culture. :)
