Today, my mom came into my room to give me a goodbye kiss. Due to the routine of my girlfriend doing the exact same thing in the exact same spot, I held the kiss way longer than what a mother/son kiss should last. My mom actually had to tell me to "let go". FML

Today, I took a girl I like to the movies. Everything went great until I went in to kiss her. She didn't object, but my mother, who apparently followed me to the theater and was now pulling me away by my shirt while saying, "We're leaving!" certainly did. FML

Hate to say it, but maybe it's time to cut out the goodnight kisses from mommy, especially if you kiss her on the mouth. I know a lot of small children who do, but it's kind of weird when older kids do it.

Not sure what's really worse here, the fact she had to tell you to 'let go' or the fact she allowed it to go on that long without pulling back... Unless, you were holding her in place. Then, extra awkward.
