Evil eye doctor

Today, my step-son broke his glasses. Our doctor said he would no longer see us because my step-son is transgender, and a new law in our state allows him to do this. Apparently, it was foolish to be honest on medical forms. Finals are in a month but we have to find a new doctor before he can even study. FML

This is digusting. That doctor is a scumbag. I don't know if that's allowed in your state, but go back and record him saying something like "no I don't want to treat your son because he is transgender". Then post on facebook, youtube and send to his corporate office with a complaint. Just because there is a law does not mean it is accepted by others. He won't last very long. F**k this b*stard.

Wtf? Whatever his personal attitude is towards transgenders aren't doctors supposed to help everyone? How can people like that doc even become doctors?!

If you work in the medical field, you serve people even if you don't necessarily agree with your patient. For instance I've worked with blatant racist, homophobic, etc people at my hospital. I may not like that about my patient but I still serve and treat them the same way as other ones I get along with.

Yes, well, if you're a medical professional, you should not be refusing to care for a patient because of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

I would look into getting a lawyer and looking into getting the law overturned through the courts. That's how these types of laws are usually dealt with.

That doctor is a scumbag, and while the shitty laws in your state may protect him, you can always post bad reviews and warn people not to use his services. Public service announcement: If your shitty religious beliefs mean you can't provide care to a patient, find another line of work.

It depends. If you are like most people with glasses who just have poor vision then it's not too complicated. However there's people like myself who have eye disorders that need therapy and specialists for. So it is complicated for us to find people who specialize in the type of eye disorder we have and stuff.

post your doctors name, don’t worry, we’ll take care of him and make sure he doesn’t have a job at then end of the day. if you’re in the medical line of work, you help everyone. point blank period. i’m an EMT and that’s like me not treating a person in need just bc of their sexual orientation. no. not okay. that “dr” is not cut out for this line of work and that’s that.
