Today, I went to a hospital in Uganda, where I'm working with an NGO for the summer. I had a high fever and other symptoms of malaria. They gave me a test, and I don't have malaria. I'm now however sick from the water they gave me to wash down a medication to reduce fever. FML

Today, after coming back from a trip to Africa where I got malaria, I went to the hospital for some blood tests. The doctor said, "Good news! You never had malaria! But they put you through a lot of dangerous treatments and now your liver has an anomaly." FML

Today, I learned that because of my new medication, I can either avoid getting malaria, or have a male yeast infection. I'm stuck in Africa for the next two months, and have to sit down to pee because I don't want to irritate my penis by touching it. FML

Today, just a day prior to my vacation starting, I learned that my five-day "seasonal fever" is actually due to a blood infection from a bacteria. FML

Today, I've been suffering from unbearable headache, fever, agonizing body pain for more than ten days. I took a COVID test, an antibiotic tablets course, even a dengue test. Finally after spending my entire bank balance on tests and MRI, it was diagnosed as a migraine - which went away with a single tablet. FML

Today, I was diagnosed with a kidney infection; the symptoms include nausea and having to pee every five minutes. I had to walk six miles in the pouring rain to pick up the medication, peed in the woods twice, got honked at while throwing up on the road, and my boyfriend told me not to complain. FML

Today, I have a UTI. After taking some sample medicine my doctor gave to me, I had a lot of back pain and nausea. I also spent 6 hours in the ER with no health insurance because I thought I was urinating blood. Nope, "peeing red" is just a little side-effect my doctor forgot to inform me of. FML

Broken healthcare

Today, I have a severe infection. The last doctor I saw was in the ER and he gave me antibiotics ineffective against what I have, and sent me home. The doctor before that gave me a dose of antibiotics you’d give a toddler, so they didn’t work either. It has spread to my kidneys and I should’ve been admitted to hospital. FML

Well it is going to sound VERY harsh but, Most western countries and some other developed countries trying help these african people African people are strugling with mostly hunger, civil wars, deadly bactaria and virus. (and AIDS) Yet their population is increasing due to do ignorance. This makes their condition worse. Well the people trying to help african people with sending foods and medicines. Which i dont understand becouse these goods are only making these african people lazy while waiting next UN shipment. And again this makes their condition is worse again. Many of you must know the saying give a man fish, you make him eat food 1 day teach a man how to fish you make him eat food rest of his day. I really disagree with giving african people food amd medicine supplies, it is totally useless idea, give natural selection some time to decrease their population, then teach them how to farm and keep thier OWN water supply clean, and the most importantly TEACHING F.CKING POPULATION CONTROL. Then teach them how to train their OWN TEACHERS DOCTORS ENGINEERS PEACEKEEPERS and SCIENTISTS. Happy ******* ending of human crisis in africa in about 50 to 100 years, instead of infinite years of WASTING money on medical shipments. Stupid f.cks learn to improvise learn to create far future plans instead of saving the already in good shape today.
