Today, my mom was telling me a funny story about when I was young. I said, "Yeah I was funny, huh?" She replied, "Yep, I had a funny one and a pretty one." FML

Today, feeling very self-conscious about my looks, I told my mom I felt ugly and wished I could be as beautiful as her. She only said, "Yeah, I'm pretty, I wonder what happened to you." FML

Today, I was complaining to my mom about how my sister looked like a barbie doll next to me. I was saying how she was so tan and her hair looked awesome next to mine. She paused for a while and then said "Well you're pretty on the inside." FML

Today, my mom dropped me off at a friend's house. Upon leaving, my friend's mom said how much I looked like my mother. My mother then replied, "That's funny, she was adopted." This was the first I'd heard of this. FML

Today, I was on the phone with my little sister as she explained that all these guys like her now that she's so skinny and beautiful. My mom must have overheard me tell my sister that at least I was a cuter child, because my mom laughed and said, "Yeah right, we had to buy you fat kid diapers." FML

Today, I was sitting in my garden with my younger sister when she told me that she'd found pictures of me from a decade ago. She also told me that I've changed a lot over the years, because back then I was still pretty. My neighbours overheard it and started laughing out loud. FML

Today, I was looking at baby photos of me with my mom. I realized that I was making a funny face in some of them, particularly when smiling. I asked my mom if that was a silly face I used to like making. She replied, "Oh, honey no, you had Bell's Palsy until you were two." FML

Hey don't feel bad, I was the funny one out of my three brothers and I'm the only one who isn't single, the only one who will probably finish college, and the only one whose comedy is giving him connections with people who are helping me pay tuition and helping me get a job when I get out, I already have 2 hospitals offering 6 figure a year paying jobs and I haven't even graduated yet, while one of my brothers is miserable in the Air Force and the other is in debt paying child support, both bieng the "pretty ones"

so hopefully she was just trying to be sarcastic and just failed. ask her if she truly feels that way? on the bright side I had false best friends when I was young and now they're all fat and look old as hell while I look great! no one believes my age when I tell them. :-) your time will come!!
