Don't worry OP. The bright side is that negativity isn't around you? (:
Dont worry, someday when youre on your own, you'll shpw him how great your life is without him and he'll realized what he missed.
Some people just aren't meant to be parents, but there's nothing wrong with you OP just him
Sounds like he's not your DAD, but a SPERM DONOR. Any parent that just walks out on their children for any reason short of premeditated murder is not an actual parent, just someone who shares the same DNA as you. Kick him to the curb and forget him!
OP is a woman. And OP, I say unfriend and block. You don't need his toxic nastiness in your life. And if he thinks you and your brothers are responsible for his horrible life, then he won't miss you when you remove him from yours.
You can't let that get into your head. There is no way you could have ****** up his life. All you did was live. All kids have their own problems, no kid is perfect. So if your dad didn't realize it when he decided to have kids then well, he's an idiot. Ignore him. He obviously won't be of any help to you in the long run, even if he is your biological dad.
Sorry you had to see that, OP. Just sucks. As others said, it's about him, not you. I hope he can wise/sober up, apologize to you, and make amends.

Just because you had a bad fatherly experience doesn't make fathers overrated. A large majority of dads aren't assholes believe it or not.
My dad died of glioblastoma multiform stage 4 brain cancer when I was 12. He was not overrated. I got my artistic abilities from him and I'm very glad I did. It's a memory to carry with me. Just because yours wasn't there doesn't mean you can say that dads are overrated.
