Dear OP, First, harsh. Sucks to be in any situation where your parent does something awkward that involves your current attraction. Second you're a teenager, and through no fault of your own (blame hormones when the cops ask), everything awkward in your life is going to seem far, far more important than it really it. So relax, it's not a world-ender, just embarrassing. Get creative; this is a situation that can work to your advantage in the twisted, ongoing series of mental games that youth calls love. If this 'crush' is someone you don't know, then relax- chances are if you thought this incident was bad, you'll be hard-pressed to make the first move on your boy there. If he is someone you know... next time you two talk, bring up seeing him at his work and having to keep a leash on your cool dad (include an eyeroll here for effect) when out in public. Assuage your paranoid sense of importance *and* shoe-in seeing him in an environment outside of school! Ftw. Go get 'im, hottie.

Sigh. When I go to McDonalds my mom and grandma grab EVERYTHING! They get like five stacks of napkins, 15 straws, TONS of eating utensils and all the condiment packets they can fit in the bag. I'm so embarrassed by it. It may not sound embarrassing online but when your family is doing it it's horrible. I'm like you can take some of each but why are you taking ALL THAT. Hispanic parents are so cheap. Sigh.
