I don't understand why there are so many YDI's. I absolutely understand you. I was in hysterics for over 3 hours (crying, etcetera) from a loud noise while in a meditative state; if I was awaken by something like an object hitting my window... gosh. I have an anxiety disorder (I really don't know much about it; I can't recall what my doctor said besides the pills she gave me that are meant to help). If someone approaches me without announcing his/herself, it makes me /jump off the ground/ and make a loud exclamation ("Oh, my God!" "Eughh!" "Dah!" etc). A snowball would likely near give me a heart attack. At least we don't have snow here. Or kids. (Seriously, there are seven children [ages 5-17] I'm aware of within a 2-mile radius, and that's in a rather tight community.) Why, on any FML I can sympathize with, I launch into lengthy, near-irrelevant anecdotes no-one can possibly care about?
