okay so for everyone who says that the OP is really bad, it's pretty obvious that they don't play volleyball. perhaps she only had that one bad miss, while the rest of her hits were fine. would this story really be on FML if she had just casually hit it out? no. the fml is that she hit the fire alarm. I've seen university vollleyball and I can tell you that she's not the first person to have hit it out...

My school used to not have glass around them, but idiots these days have been pulling them too many times = =

Tryouts are just a big joke anyways. They just pick the ones who were on the team last year again, unless you're extraordinarily good at volleyball, so there's really no point for anyone who wants to improve themselves to try and join a team if they haven't already been on it.

My school has cages you have to lift up before you can pull the alarms in the gym. I guess this is why.

Was the fire alarm on the floor?

Gym alarms are supposed to have guards over them.
