I've been on both sides of this fence. (I'm kinda *ahem* older than some (many??) of the members here...) I got left behind on accident when we were in Greece once - my parents just drove out of the town ... I watched the car turn out of the main street ... and just get smaller and smaller in the distance (you may cry if you wish). I have never forgotten it, nor have I let my parents forget it - it is still one of the funniest stories we tell in the family. :-) I also got completely confused over arrangements for me to pick up my girlfriend's daughter from daycare once. The date kept changing every hour, and in the end I got the wrong day. I went over that night and apologised to everyone - mother and daughter, but it was about 12 months before the daughter would trust me to pick her up again... :-(( (Losing the trust of a child you love is one of the most painful things you can experience.) So to OP - *hugs* I can relate to how you feel. Hopefully your parents have a good/weird/funny reason for why they forgot, and in years to come it will be a great funny story to tell at parties.
hehehe

haha that sucks! happened to me once too....except my dad remembered me after like an hour and a half of waiting for him...

Well, you could have talked with him on the way home if he was a cool counselor.
OP should have ran away and joined the circus. With the money that he would have earned by working at the circus they could have hired a professional hitman, who then could have killed OP's parents. ....atleast that's what I would have done.
