Today, I was giving a competitive dramatic speech. I got a little too into it and punched the ground to portray my character's anger. I must be one dedicated thespian because I was angry enough to break my hand. FML

You're clearly a very passionate performer. Coming from someone else who performs, I'm impressed! sorry about your hand though. Bones heal, but nobody will forget your performance in a hurry!

Clearly very dedicated OP! Just remember Viggo Mortenson broke his toe kicking a helmet on the set of Lord of the Rings and used to pain to produce the perfect anguished cry about the hobbits being captured. It may hurt now, but you're clearly ambitious enough to go far.

I was just about to bring up this story! If you watch the scene, after he breaks his toe kicking the helmet, you can see the moment of shock followed by the moment where he thinks "**** it" and screams in pain. Most people would have reshot the scene, but not Aragorn... You're in good company, OP.

Method acting, 11/10 ^v^ I do competitive speech, too. During a duo act, one character “tripped” me, but I actually tripped and broke my nose on a table. I improv’d my way through it and we got 4th place. Keep acting, keep the program alive and awesome!
