Today, I was carrying some bags out of a store, and my shirt had scooted up a little. I had no free hands, so I ignored it. A woman stopped me to tell me that bare midriffs are only attractive on skinny girls, "not fat ones." I'm 6 months pregnant. FML

How do you get to feel so self important that you think giving an unprompted demeaning opinion to a stranger is OK ? Asking because it seems so common in the US (there's a recent FML about condoms too, and countless others). I haven't heard anything like that since grade school in my life (and given my weight, you'd think I would have, although body-shaming is more common towards women, I believe)
