Monday Motivation

Today, while on trial for a desperately needed new job, I tripped crossing a road with my would-be manager. I twisted my ankle, and he had to carry me across the road and call a taxi for me to go home. FML

I don't see how tripping would cause you to lose the job... Unless the job requires you to have perfect balance and never trip or fall. Which seems odd. Also, if you only twisted your ankle, you wouldn't need to be carried. If it was so bad you couldn't even walk, it's more likely a sprain or fracture.

Most jobs are sedentary and don't require walking competence. Your accident shouldn't disqualify you from the job unless you were applying to be a streetwalker.
