Today, while I was at work, my wife sent me a few pictures of her in a new lingerie, to "spice up" my day. She didn't realize that I have iCloud turned on so I can share files with my colleagues. My boss and a dozen other employees received the same pictures. FML

He then set it as his laptop's desktop screen, took a picture, then sent to me saying, "Hmm, should probably change this before Monday", only he didn't send it me, he sent to his family group chat with his mum and sisters and didn't realise. Everyone saw. FML

Today, I emailed a bunch of documents to a potential client, only to later realise later I'd also emailed them a folder of mine and my husband's very intimate photos. There’s things in there we only do when I’m very drunk, and am very embarrassed by. I’ve been ducking my bosses calls for two hours. FML

iCloud only saved photos you save to your phone, if she sent them via text then they won't show up on iCloud unless you click to save them, you deserved this... In going to assume you did this in purpose

This is not an Apple problem. iCloud works for the account you're logged in to. It uploads only what you explicitly tell it to. Photos are disabled by default. You'd have to share your account password, and turn on all the switches, and explicitly share ... YDI.
