And that is why you shouldn't take pics that you aren't comfortable with everyone seeing. I was taught that as a child, before technology really made that statement true.
Because phone companies love to add useless features. Why would you want to upload any messages? Unless its from like someone who was dying and it was their last message to you and you're changing phones. But then you wouldnt want other people to see it. Hmm.
I guess I'm confused by the number of YDI's on this. The guy is at work. It does not seem unreasonable to have filesharing, depending on what you do for living, at work so that colleagues can work on projects together. His wife is sending him racy pictures at work. It does not say that he requested that she do so. So why does he deserve it?
It is totally your fault, you shouldn't share personal social media with people you work with.
"sharing" is also optional with both features. iMessage allows you to text multiple people and have a group conversation assuming everyone's on an apple device, including iPads, iPhones, and any Mac computer which is nice for anyone without an iPhone. Putting photos in your iCloud also frees up storage space on your phone and doesn't have to be viewed by anyone other than yourself if set up properly. From ops post it sounds like he DID want his photos shared. Sounds like ydi to me; your wife should know if all of your photos are shared with the whole office.

OP's boss: May I have a word with you in private? OP: Look, I can explain... Boss: (whispers) please send more pics.
Well, at least you can't say that that day was boring at work! ^w^ On a completely separate note, there's no way to disable iCloud from receiving photos or anything?
