My best friend's dad was in prison for a while because of drugs and other things. He's completely turned his life around and is really big on helping other ex-cons out whenever he can. That said: See what your dad went to jail for before you get too involved.

Are you certain that he wasn't referring to whomever might be working there (as officers, I mean)? It might sound unlikely, but it could happen (& it's an easy mistake to make). Even if your dad has been in prison, though; that isn't necessarily the worst thing in the world (unless the offender continues to get arrested). Sometimes people make bad choices, but for those who are willing to just get on with things; take whatever punishment they get served to them & then do their best to turn their life around ... such people deserve that second chance, I believe. =o)

this man could probably teach you a lot about surviving... and probably every awesome card game that ever existed. hop down from your ivory tower and give the guy a chance. he probably has great stories.
