I'm sure they were just trying to make a joke, or something. You're your own person and you're beautiful in every way. Just because you don't have a boyfriend now, doesn't mean that you'll never have one. I'm sure you'll find an amazing person and be happy with him and you can show your parents how loveable you really are.

Oof. I feel your pain-- my mother announced when I was twenty-three that I'd never get married, then she and my little sister amused themselves by naming all my future cats. Now they get mad if I remind them of it. Apparently I can't take a joke.
