Americans don't even know their own country. Dumb asses.
At least you knew it was a state. I'm from ri and when people ask me about it they are like « rhode island? Thats in new hampshire right?« and some have even tried to argue with me about it.
Wow. How did you even get the interview? Still. I've heard of people who can't name how many stars there are on the American flag. One guy was asked to name a country that bordered the U.S. He said Australia. I'm ashamed to live in this country.
Well guessing you didn't get in.
Im not defending either side of this but if you dont live near rhode island why would you need to know? Its useless trivia that there is a very slim chance you will use. all these 'oh im in australia and i knew that' or 'im in norway!' or even 'nobody can be thst dumb'. If you had no knowledge of where a place was, and you hear the word 'island in it's name, you think it's an island. I cant believe that people are that desperate that they need to show off it's insane. why does anybody cafe if you're halfway across the world from the place and you know this piece of information? the fact that you are even further away, makes it even more completely useless. If you ,ive near there, then yes, its stupid. otherwise, who cares?
