Oh, hello!

By Anonymous - This FML is from back in 2010 but it's good stuff - United States

Today, I went to go meet my new upstairs neighbor, only to find out nobody actually moved in. The noises that have been coming from up there were made by rats. Lots of them. FML

Have them make you a wonderful French meal. The rat in Ratatouille did it...

You don't have to live in gross conditions to get rats or mice. The place my family lived in when I was younger got a few mice every winter and every few years we got some rats. It was just cold and they knew our house was warm. The apartment above the OP's is probably warm and free of predators and the previous occupants could have left some food scraps on the floor or something. Then, mama rat met papa rat and BOOM- the whole apartment is crawling with rats. Regardless of how it happened EWWWWW.

augh that blows! but dude seriously, you don't even have to get a cat, you can just borrow one. If you let a cat hang out in your place for a couple of hours, rodents will smell it and stay away. no joke, the front desk lady at my apartment complex told me that. ( and most apartments have rodents, if they are old at all)

I would rather have rats in my upstairs than crabs in my downstairs if you know what I'm saying :D aww...I made myself sad

know what lots of rats mean? dead bodies. and we all know what that means..... THIS ****'S A MURDERER!!!!!!!!
