Out of the frying pan…

Today, after I'd left my former job because of burnout for another job, where they'd said handling call time wasn't important, my new employer demands to fill in every day during the week how much time I spent on each task and calls, bathroom or coffee breaks, as "waste-time", and we need to fill in how much time we "wasted" pissing or shitting. Employment laws, report it! Send in tip off to appropriate departments, and record and report everything make sure the reports go to manager, to the authorities and keep a copy for yourself. Paper trail everything, do not discuss any of it on phone. Every conversation follow up with email so it's on the record. And back up the emails as proof.

It's funny that this comes from Belgium where the national symbol is a pissing boy.

my work has us record every job we work on, breaks and meetings. I would ask what how the records are used before doing anything major. for us, it is purely to know what we charge the customer vs write off for training, but we are not penalized. could be for something similar, and "down time" is simply not charged to the customer. But yeah, first time they talk about penalizing you I would be reporting it.
