Public freakouts

By BrakesNotBumpers - This FML is from back in 2015 but it's good stuff - United States - Reading

Today, I was rear-ended. While I was yelling, "WHAT THE F...?" the lady who hit me completely freaked out and drove into me again. Twice. FML

Common courtesy is to take someone to dinner before the rear ending. This lady needs to learn some manners!

She probably has a loose butt hole.

Your comment makes me want to hit you with a car. Twice.

Wow she should've been paying more attention than to have hit you the second time, hope she has the insurance to cover the damage she did to your car. FYL OP.

Just wait until she sees the bill from her insurance company. She'll be hitting something repeatedly.

Damn, that sucks. At least she didn't hit and run.

i doubt she could make it down the street if she tried

I hope you weren't too hard on her op. Accidents are accidents and I hate when one person completely freaks out and yells at the other person. My 18 year old cousin just bought a car with his own money and a few days later got into a bad accident that totalled his car. The lady he hit (who was like 50) got out and started screaming and swearing at him and threatening to kill him. I was so mad when I heard this. Who after being in an accident freaks out on some kid that's scared out of his mind and doesn't even ask if he's ok? I know people are upset when they get in an accident or someone hits them. But it is an accident and not something they intended to do. My cousin didn't go out planning on hitting someone and totalling his new car. Yelling at someone and threatening them won't take back what happened. Hope the insurance covers everything op and glad you weren't hurt!

All depends on the situation I had this teen girl on her phone texting rear end me.... that's not an accident, Idk why people claim that is. If it is truly and accident and not someone being stupid then no need to get worked up, . UT I'd someone's being stupid., gotta go all in.

was there a sign on your car that said "bump it"?

Or did the bumper sticker say "Bump if You Love Jesus?"

I've only driven a few times and never in traffic and I keep having nightmares that I'll completely fly off the handle when I get in a car crash and not hit the brake, and I'll hurt a bunch of people. I think that lady pretty much sums up me in my nightmare

I've been driving for 13 years and for some reason I still have dreams where I'm driving and my brakes don't work right and I slowly bump into cars. It's so weird. I've never been in an accident either and am never nervous driving so I have no idea why I have them. Your dreams don't reflect how you would drive in real life. There's no reason to be nervous or scared. If you're worried about being in a bad accident you could do driving lessons and get as much knowledge about driving as possible so you feel safe and you could even be one of those (really annoying) people that drive the speed limit so you're never driving really fast. Take drivers lessons. Driving is fun and freeing not having to rely on anyone else to get you where you're going. It's a life changer. Don't let your fears hold you back.
