But a rule’s a rule. You don’t see people doing construction in neighborhoods during the night (a designated quiet time), even though that might be a better time traffic-wise for them to work.
From what I've been reading the only people who care about quiet hours are the same type who enforce insane over the top HOA rules, and even if someone *did* get worked up enough to complain to authorities they wouldn't be taken seriously. That's a big chunk of the middle of the day, and there's no good reason to reserve it for silence
I'm presuming there's a bylaw that they're just clearly ignoring. Couldn't you call the city officials about this? It's a similar situation here with my neighbours and their yapping mutt. I guess it's not supposed to be out barking after 10 or something, but they have it out every so often making noise. See if the city can do something about these people during quiet period.
Maybe they're doing some dental torture like in "Marathon Man?" Is it safe?
You wouldn't survive Africa then, where it is some weird cultural thing to project like a ************ when you speak. The other day, two people were having a conversation 50 metres away. I actually ran out of my workshop to investigate, thinking someone was being attacked.
That makes 0 sense. Person is bothered by a person violating a cultural practice in Location A and you think that translates to not being okay with culture practice in Location B.
