Today, I have to spend over an hour at a Gamestop so my boyfriend can get his 'Final Fantasy' game at midnight. I'm tired, I don't want to stand around any more, and all the people around around me are debating superheroes. I'm living in an episode of 'The Big Bang Theory.' FML

Today, after weeks of my yelling, my boyfriend finally listened and got a hobby. Instead of getting into something sensible like martial arts, he chose tabletop gaming. Now I have to listen to hours of boring stories about pretend fantasy worlds, and admit to everyone that my boyfriend is a nerd. FML

Today, I sat through 9 gruelling hours of Star Wars with my boyfriend. I hate those movies with a passion and frankly would rather get a pap smear from Wolverine than watch them. Afterwards, he dumped me for yawning, saying that I didn’t take a “serious” interest in his favorite things. FML

Today, I tried to get ready for a final. I had about six hours to study. My girlfriend decided to help by jabbering loudly in my ear about celebrity gossip, noisily cleaning the office and losing my notes, and getting in a screaming argument with her mom over the phone. FML

Today, I was at a gas station when the cash register made a sound effect similar to one from Sonic the Hedgehog, and I pointed this out. The cashier then saw fit to go on a rant about how I need to stop focusing on video games, and get a life and a girlfriend. FML

Today, I had my first free night in months. I spent it doing homework and watching TV. I had set my Facebook status to say I was spending time with the boys from The Big Bang Theory, then fell asleep. I woke up later to an angry text from my boyfriend thinking I was cheating on him. FML

Today, we had our busiest day at work all year with lots of angry people calling, and a co-worker called in sick. I went to my local game shop after work, exhausted and upset, and guess who was at his usual table running a Dungeons and Dragons group, apparently not too sick to go out. Yeah. FML

Really?? I know FF is not for everyone,but I would totally wait until midnight with my boyfriend because it makes him happy,and I love video games and sadly not all girls like them.Let the guy have some fun!!

You're complaining because you have to be there for an hour? My now fiancé took me with him to the midnight run for modern warfare 2, and I had to stand there with him for SEVEN HOURS so he could be first. Don't complain because you have to be there for an hour.

its not that bad, i waited in line with my bf on our anniversary when Cod mw2 came out and i had a great time and i would have made him wait in line with me as well to wait for ff if i was able to get it p.s. big bang theory is amazing!!! =D

Um, you didn't *have* to, and an hour is not that long. Quit your bitching. If your interests are *that* different from your boyfriend's and if you are this unwilling to do things for him/with him because he enjoys them, you should probably reconsider your relationship. And/or be a little less selfish. It's not all about you.
