Today, I have to spend over an hour at a Gamestop so my boyfriend can get his 'Final Fantasy' game at midnight. I'm tired, I don't want to stand around any more, and all the people around around me are debating superheroes. I'm living in an episode of 'The Big Bang Theory.' FML

Protip No. Its a word, and in fact, he'd probably be happier to just go pick it up by himself, but you women are so damn clingy at the most inconvenient times. You just need to understand that the game is more important than you, but only until he finishes it. Srsly, What a nub you are.

The Big Bang Theory is not funny, and neither is this FML.

OP I like video games and used to play FF a lot but if i dont not want to go somewhere with my BF I would politely tell him and he wouldnt mind. Couples dont have to do everything together you know. If he forced you to go then thats different but then you just have to be a bit more firm no one can really make you do anything you really dont want to. As much as I like the big bang theory if i actually lived it i think i would kill Sheldon after five mins hehe.

Oh come on OP Final Fantasy's awesome. I'd wait in line with my boyfriend for days for that if we weren't going to have it delivered. Give FF a chance. You just might like it.:) I do, I've been loving 'em since was 7 trying to figure out what the hell was going on with FF7. And yes, I'm an obsessive fangirl.:))

if you don't like him gaming and can't be supportive of his differing interests then why did you go with him? there's nothing worse than going to a midnight release (which can be so much fun! i've even offered to work them for certain games) for a game you've been anticipating than to have the person you're with complain the whole time. honestly. it's rude. i guess i'm just lucky that my husband and i are both gamers and we can do things like game together *shrugs* btw, final fantasy xiii is amazing. you could probably just sit there and watch him play it for the cinematics. my husband watched me play last night ^_^

wow you really are a self centered bitch. boo hoo...i had to stand with my boyfriend and listen to them talk about video games and super heros...waahhhh! my fiance loves to be outdoors (me not so much into crazy mountain biking and skiing) and LOVES going to sporting goods stores. i go with him because after i get to go into one of my clothing stores and oggle over cute clothes and handbags...most of the time i let him pick out something that he wants to see me in for being so wonderful and dealing with my crazy shopping urges ;D in a real solid relationship its all about give and take sweetie...so either get over it or well get over it...actually better yet i hope your bf reads this an dumps your ass...he deserves sooooo much better :)

My word, FF is seriously worth staying up for! At least be happy he's excited... I couldn't get mine at midnight, unfortunately. (Y'know, school) I did go straight after school to get it though =D Limited edition and all! (And my bf got me the limited edition strategy guide =D He knows I'm rather obsessive over FF... XDD) Ah, I'm only at the very beginning, and it seems like an AWESOME game. Only thing is, it's seems oddly similiar to FFVII (Ex-soldier? Main character confirmed to be based on Cloud? NORA/AVALANCHE?). Like I said, though, I'm only at the very beginning. Erm, back on topic... YDI OP? Didn't have to stay, I guess...

i'v been in your position a few times. if your boyfriend is that into video games he's never going to change. theres only 2 things you can do. realize that he's a man and loves man things so suck it up and try to take intrest in something he loves and try to get him to go do or see something your into like a midnight viewing of a chick flick or shopping on 6am early sales day. to make it even. OR you can not put up with it break up with him and keep spending your life trying to find the perfect man (which is not out there i promise) that will like everything you do and not make you do "dumb" things like that. or just let him know maybe when it comes to things like that its really for man time and he should take a friend and leave you at home to chill with the girls. but you should just be happy that he likes you enough to share something he's so stoked about with you.

I promise there's no perfect women out there, either.

You're just a whiny bitch. You didn't HAVE to go. Hope he dumps you and finds someone less annoying.
