Had the same story, but in my case it was my ex-fiancée, and Halo 3 release night. She even demanded that I play the game with her when we got home. Me needing to get up for work in the morning in less than 5 hours didn't make a bit of difference to her. I feel your pain. And to all the nerds out there who are flipping out at "notanerd", give her a break. A little consideration of your partners feelings will go a long way. It might even save your relationship.
