By jobless - This FML is from back in 2012 but it's good stuff - United States

Today, I fell asleep during a job interview, while it was taking place over the phone. FML

Interviewer: And what would you say are your best qualities? OP: Oh, I'm very attentive and enthusiastic! And I'm also very... Interviewer: Very what? OP: ...very... Interviewer: Hello? OP: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzz *click*

How does one do that. How do you fall asleep during an interview? Are you not interested at all?

I think people are being too harsh towards OP; she could have a good reason for falling asleep. What if during the interview a ninja busted through the window and shot her with a tranquilizer dart? I feel bad for you OP, horrible timing.

So the OP probably went to sleep because some 'ninja' bursted through her window and shot her with a tranquilizer dart? Does that gun even exist or are you just referring to a pointless weapon in a fictional and non-existant movie? If she was calling 911 and that 'ninja' came in and shot her with that 'dart', would the police believe that? I think you live in a indecent planet if this is true. Ninjas may exist, but they wouldn't just bomb into a stranger's house and shoot her with any sort of weapon unless there is a valid reason to do so. And to tell you the truth, it didn't happen. So the 'point' you are trying to make is invalid. I apologize if you are being sarcastic or telling a joke.

You should probably rest up before your next one just in case

Now how does that happen? I would think the nervousness of being interviewed would be enough to keep you awake! Well, unless you just didn't care about getting the job. YDI

to everyone who voted ydi: sometimes, if you’re tired enough, falling asleep isn’t a decision, but an involuntary bodily function.
