Scary

Today, I took my girlfriend to a scary movie, hoping I could comfort her at a scary part. Instead when a scary part came on, she reacted by throwing up all over my lap and the person in front of us. FML

Awh, she just wanted to make the scary part just a little bit more surprising

Yeah, I don't recommend taking her to see The Human Centipede.

wanting to purposely scare her and make her feel bad just so you can be a "hero" later on is a really shitty thing to do ydi and I hope you learned your lesson.

Today, i was watching a scary movie at the movies, and the person sitting behind me got scared and threw up all over me. FML.

There's your cue!! Hold back her hair! It'll show how much you care!!

That went a completely different direction than I was expecting, OP.

What the hell is wrong with her?? I hope she just suddenly got sick and that this isn't a normal thing for her! Still, it is possible to kinda control where u puke or run to a bathroom or garbage with a mouthful!

...I'm sorry. Are you new to the world of vomiting?

Well now you know what makes her sick...well did you succeed at what your originally planned?

Ugh. Trying to get a girl scared so you can comfort them is such a scummy move. Think of it this way, if someone slashed your tires then offered you a ride, should you be grateful? Obviously that's taking it to the extreme end, but the idea is the same, causing discomfort intentionally, then 'looking good' by helping with the problem you incited in the first place.

That isn't even remotely similar. A lot of people like to get scared by horror movies, and some girls like to perceive their boyfriends as protecting them

I did miss that they were a couple, because so many FML's like this involve just the girl the guy wants to be his girlfriend, but that still isn't much of a justification for going to the movie with the intent being to comfort her when she gets scared, instead of just seeing a movie without other motives.
