Today, my girlfriend refused to take a picture with me to prove to my friends that I do indeed have a girlfriend. I got so desperate that I photoshopped myself into one of her Facebook photos instead. FML

Today, my girlfriend dumped me for cheating on her. Her "proof" was an image of me making out with a girl. Pretty damning, except she loaded it up in Photoshop, where I saw the image layers she'd used to fake the whole thing. I'm not sure what the hell she was thinking either. FML

Today, I was looking at the page of a girl I've had this big crush on for a long time. After getting a date with her and taking her horse back riding and having a picture taken of the two of us I find that she paint shopped me out of the picture before posting it. FML

Today, I set my relationship status to taken with a fake profile just for kicks. A literal minute later, an acquaintance commented proof that I stole the image from Google. I can't tell if I was busted so quickly because I'm a bad liar, or that people find it impossible to believe that I could get a girlfriend. FML

Hopefully you included a nice 'hover arm' or mismatched clothing to the setting the gf is in (i.e. you in a hoodie/jeans with her on the beach in a bikini) that way people will know it's legit! But seriously though, like other users have asked... are you sure she's your gf? Does she know she's your gf?

If 80's and 90's teencoms have taught me anything it's that you should have paid her to be your girlfriend so you can be popular. Or made a bet with your friends that you could make her the hottest girl in school. Either way, wacky hijinks will ensue. And you'll get to be with her at the end!
