Snow day

By Charlie8u347 - 29/12/2009 20:26 - United States

Today, I was told to shovel four inches of snow from my driveway. I had to get the snow shovel from the rafters of my garage, and there were other tools with it. As I was yanking the shovel down, a pickax fell and smashed through the back window of my dad's Buick. FML

Serves your dad right for having a Buick.

hey, for windows, comprehensive will cover that and most glass places eat the deductible

insurance will cover glass but the deductible has to be paid to the glass shop doing the work. If a glass shop can help with the deductible they do try but often times they can not waive the whole deductible. Especially if it's a deductible of say $250. But for like $50 or $100 they do try and help. It depends on how much profit they are making on the job.

i agree with this; shouldn't be stowing junk where it can fall on what's below. Could have been a person.

at least it didn't fall through your face

That was very poor storage on your dad's part so YDI to your dad. FYL because your going to get blamed for the poor storage. F the car's life because well...

This is your parent's fault for being packrats. Snow shovels don't belong in garage rafters.

I believe, more importantly, pickaxes don't belong in a high place above heads.

It's their damn fault for storing it in an unsafe place.

It was a complete accident. Just keep shoveling snow.
