Its not an appropriate way to put camera in a person's room, regardless if she's your mother.

Well...if you're a minor, you can rat your mother out to the cops for possession of child pornography. That should get her out of your hair for awhile. And if you're not a minor...who cares?

am I the only one thinking he was trying to secretly film him and his gf *******, she busted him and he was said "it was my mum! she must have been filming me to make sure I cleaned my room!" and he had to post an FML to make it seem real.

Wow, I'm guessing it was a webcam and was broadcasting live - fyl. If it was just a camera that you could erase the data on though, not so bad... but doesn't sound like it. That's just stupid. I mean, she could easily knock on your door and think of an excuse to come in to check up on you cleaning... (my parents do that all the time >_> never makes a difference whether I clean or not though) That's a major invasion of your privacy. I'm sure she'd hate if you were to do that to her.

i honestly think this is not real... it makes absolutely no sense, why would a mom have a live video feed of her son's room to see if he's cleaning, when she can easily go and knock on the door and see if the room is clean or not? b.s.

Time to get an outside lock for your door, man, and lock it when you're not in there. A friend of mine does that because his family steals his stuff. So it'll work for you, too. Unless your mother is a lock-picking genius or something.

Your mom is creepy as hell. Even if she just put it there to make sure you did your chores, who the hell spies on their kids to make sure that they clean?!
