Typing is going to become obsolete pretty soon, so it's kind of a good thing you have something pushing you to do something else. You should take up soccer. Bad hands are actually a plus and you don't have to do much.

I have had arthritis for a long time - I sympathize. See a rheumatologist - They will probably prescribe Celebrex which is expensive if you live in the USA. As far as I know there is nothing that works near as well that’s cheaper. It’s now available generic but still pricy in the USA. Over the counter Voltaren cream could help. The following supplements help: Cosamine DS Turmeric Topical CBD cream helps. Soaking your hands in very warm tap water can give a little relief too. I am sorry, everything but the warm tap water is relatively pricey - Arthritis is not a cheap ailment.
