Im sorry to the person who posted this FML story and i can see how you could have NOT have won. Creating a logo for a company is no easy work, if you think its just something simple then think again. The logo has to be creativity, eye catching, have something a customer can easily remember and something that the customer will have to like to look at etc etc. If the logo you drew managed to succeed all of the above criteria then you would have won, but if it failed one of them it fails the contest.

logo designing is difficult, so it's ok. once you draw a certain amount of logos, it's hard to keep being creative :(

Well if the employer didn't like the design, why should he be forced to use it for his company's logo just coz it was the only entry?

"trying to take jobs from real designers"?? Are you serious? The employer was the one who set up the competition, maybe you should bitch at him for not consulting a real designer rather than someone who just entered a competition. Geez.

My uni offered me a phd in how to design a psychologicaly attractive/commpeling logo, so really, don't feel bad : s

Quit your crying and make a better logo next time, otherwise hire someone to do it for you so you can go and cut yourself in the next room.
