Ouch, that really does blow.
Try showing up for work and see how disorganized they really are. Maybe you will earn a paycheck or your keep by the time they notice.
Just show up to the workplace and act like your the person that recieved the job. Going by this FML, they don't seem to be very organized anyway so it should work out nicely for you anyway.
halo 2 ftw
i've seen alot of FMLs like this. So just feel good knowing that they're hiring the wrong people; people who don't know how to dial a correct phone number.
The sad part is telling your friends you really didnt get the job. Id go get some icecream to feel a little better :)
I'd go get some pot
damn trainee raising ur hopes like dat
You should get the trainee's job! I am so sorry for your disappointment but would you really want to work somewhere so unprofessional anyway? They'd only forget to pay you! Don't give up, you can do so much better!

Contract Law 101: By calling you and saying you have the job, mistakenly or not, they created a contract with you. It's definitely worth suing over.
They should fire the trainee and take you instead :)
