I honestly hesitated between an FML and a YDI but settled for a FML: - YDI: it's your job to ask your classmates about the work done during the week, it's not their job to automatically give it to you. You should have asked, not expect other people to tell you. And if you classmates can't give it to you, send an email/call you teacher. - FML: you were sick, away from school, so you even if you had known about the homework, you wouldn't be healthy enough to work and the teacher could show some compassion, especially with Covid around. Tell her you can't do all the homework in one day when you were SICK, it's not like you were at home twiddling your thumbs, you were sick! If she decodes to have a massive power trip, go to the principale/headteacher and your parents.
And yet, instead of getting to your work, you piss away the time whining about it.
Dude it only only gets worse from here. Once you get out of school a normal work schedule is often 60+ hours a week. Only then will you really appreciate the insane amount of spare time you have now.
