Are you able to make your own doctor’s appointments? This is absolutely not normal. Melanin might be able to help fight the symptoms, but ideally finding out if there’s a root cause to this would be best.
Go see a doctor, because the cure to insomnia is drugs. At that stage, melatonin and no caffeine and all that will do ****-all. Get drugs. If your doctor won't give you drugs, show up at 3 AM with a vevuzela. (Or get a new doctor, idk, I am not normal.)
Take pictures of you while being insomniac and show them to your parentd.
Send them text every hour you’re awake so they it is not a joke.

Your parents are dumb. Going to bed earlier is useless. Just go to bed when you're tired. That's all.
