I had an ex bf like this. Dumped me cause he "wanted to see other people." He stayed single for at least as long as OP, and when I eventually found another man, my ex bf was always jealous and calling me when he found out I started dating again. I didn't understand why he was jealous, considering He was the one who dumped me. Its like he didn't like the thought of me not being single and miserable like he was.

You sound just like my ex... Always thinking with the wrong head... It's been almost four years since we broke up; I've been in the same relationship for almost 4 years while he's been through two different relationships. Both of you need to grow up! YDI
