Bronchitis is very common, it's contagious, and is usually caused by a virus, like a cold. OP probably just got sick, and you have no evidence that they smoke. Smoking is a bad choice, but it's really not that easy to quit. Sometimes, people give up, and that's sad, but why are you so mad about this guy's choices? It's not like it affects you.

You do realize that not everyone who gets bronchitis is a smoker, right?

#43 Well we got an idiot over here. Not only is it contagious, it also can just appear after you been sick with the flue for example. There are 2 types of bronchitis, the first one is temporarely and the second one is for unknown time, neither are caused by smoking or inhaling bad air.

@43 Smoking is only one of hundreds of ways to get bronchitis. Bronchitis, when broken down into its root and combining forms, simply means inflammation of the bronchi. You can get it from a cold, the flu, pollution, second-hand smoke, etc. Please educate yourself before hurling accusations.
