Today, while I was visiting my grandfather's grave, a car drove past and hit my car. The damage wouldn’t have been so bad had it not been the same car my grandfather gave me before he died. FML
I agree, your life sucks 1 408
You deserved it 100

Op here. Nope it’s a 2003 Nissan Altima. It was his last car he drove. It has sentimental value and he took excellent care of it. It’s not valuable, but having a piece of something that meant so much to him makes it priceless to me.

Hopefully you had full coverage insurance to get it repaired.

.....Too soon to say he'd be rolling in his grave if he knew what happened..?

I was wondering if it was a classic car

That sucks. My mom didn't have FULL coverage on hers. She had finished paying it off already. She was parked and in her bed sleeping when someone crashed into someone who had a stop sign, smashed into someone else's parked car, then ended up in hers and totaled it. After lawyer fees she didn't get much. Like 1k. It was a really great condition car, just had a lot of miles. They didn't value it at a lot. Couldn't get a good car to replace it with. Ended up having to buy a junker.
